Deinhard Green Label is the flagship of the Deinhard family of Rieslings, and a popular everyday classic. This medium sweet Riesling from the cool climate of the Mosel Valley has been turning the heads of wine lovers from all over the world for more than 100 years.

Grape / Terroir: A Riesling from the cool Climate Mosel Valley, grown on slate.

Taste Profile: Fresh citrus and green apple notes. Versatile fruitiness and refreshing acidity. A medium sweet Riesling balanced with a fresh, crisp acidity and superbly versatile minerality.

Food Pairings: Pairs perfectly with 
shellfish, seafood and spicy foods.

Piesporter Riesling

Deinhard Piesporter is a medium sweet Riesling from the famous winegrowing village of Piesport in Germany, located alongside the Mosel River and is distinctively influenced by the local terroir.

Grape / Terroir: A Riesling from the famous winegrowing village Piesport, which is alongside the Mosel River with slate soil.

Taste Profile: Ripe pear and apricot fruit notes. Delicate acidity and a juicy fruit finish. Medium sweet; minerality paired with delicate acidity and a fruity aftertaste.

Food Pairings: Goes best with lightly seasoned food like fish, seafood and Asian cuisine.

Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling

Piesporter Goldtröpfchen is an expressive single vineyard Riesling with great character and fruitiness. The famous Goldtröpfchen (Gold droplets) vineyard and its natural amphitheater like surroundings, leave this wine with a crisp acidic finish and a beautiful fruity aftertaste.

Grape / Terroir: A Riesling from a single vineyard side in Piesport alongside the Mosel River. A characterful terroir driven by Riesling with the distinctive expression of slate stone.

Taste Profile: An expressive Riesling with great character and fruitiness, with echoes of fresh apples, mango and flint stone. It finishes with a crisp acidity and a beautiful fruity aftertaste that is typical of slate terroir from the Goldtröpfchen. Sweet but balanced with fine minerality and crisp acidity and a long lasting finish.

Food Pairings: White meat, seafood and spicy dishes or on its own for a relaxing drink.

DRY Riesling

Food Pairings: Light dishes from the raw bar and Japanese cuisine like salads, and fried or grilles seafood cuisine.

Hanns Christof

Deinhard Hanns Christof Liebfraumilch is a beautiful blend of Germany’s most important grape varieties, distinctly elegant with an exotic fruity touch. Liebfraumilch, which means “milk of our dear lady, Maria” used to be the most successfully exported German wine.

Grape / Terroir: A blend of the most important German white grape varieties from the Rheinhessen area in the Rhein valley, where it originally comes from.

Taste Profile: Expressive bouquet, a basket of exotic fruits like papaya and passionfruit with hints of hay.

Food Pairings: Goes well with well-seasoned dishes, mild and salty cheese or on its own.

Eiswein

Deinhard Eiswein represents the qualitative peak of Deinhard's wine selection. Eiswein is a highly esteemed German specialty made from grapes harvested and pressed when temperatures drop to at least -7° C (19.4° F), which does not happen every year. This is a truly unique wine with a remarkable concentration of fruity acidity and sweetness.

Grape / Terroir: This notably high quality, noble sweet wine originates in the renowned German wine growing area of Rheinhessen. By its elegant structure this wine constitutes an absolute speciality.

Taste Profile: Elegant structure, very well balanced aromas of exotic fruits, peaches and apricots, with a hint of honey. Mild and juicy with a long finish.

Food Pairings: Our Eiswein pairs well with fourcroix in starters or at the end of the meal. It works great with all kinds of desserts like Tart Tatin or creamed desserts, as well with salty dry or blue cheeses.
